Sabina was received as a member into the Moravian Society on Dec. 26, 1761 and admitted to Holy Communion on January 21, 1776.
After the death of her first husband, Sabina Allen married Philip Sykes, a Briton from Bedford, England on November 14, 1780 in the First Moravian Church in New York.
Sovenah Miring and John Allen were married in Trinity Church Parish, New York City by Dr. Henry Barclay on October 26 1758.
John and Sabina had five children:
John Allen July 14, 1759 - April 9, 1847
William Allen Nov 26, 1761 - Aug 7, 1762
William Allen Feb 9, 1763 - After 1787 [Lost at Sea]
Isaac Allen Jul 15, 1765 - Aug 25, 1766
Stephen Allen Jul 2, 1767 - Jul 28, 1852
