MAGNA CRASH KILLS N. UTAH MAN, 2 WOMEN
Three persons were killed in a headon collision near the west Salt Lake City suburb of Magna Friday.
Those killed near Magna were John Leonard Peters, 22, Brigham City; Mrs. Draga Sunny Thomas, 27; and Marie Jackman, 16. Mrs. Brown and Miss Jackman, traveling together, were neighbors who lived in Kearns.
Deputy Sheriff Ronald Cranfill said it appeared they were killed instantly. He said there were no other occupants in the cars.
Cranfill said witnesses told him the Peters vehicle swerved across the highway into the path of Mrs. Brown's car.

MARIE JACKMAN
Kearns - Marie Jackman, 16, 4077 West 5655 South, Kearns, was killed Friday in an auto accident near Magna.
Born December 25, 1948, Richfield, a daughter of Ivan L. and Lois Eva McIntosh Jackman. Active member Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sunday School teacher; seminary student. Was a junior student at Cyprus High School.
Survivors: parents; brothers, sister, Shirl, Murray; Glenn, Dee Lynn, Mary Louise all Kearns; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Jensen, Junction, Piute County, and Mrs. Edith Jackman, Salt Lake City.
Funeral Monday, 1 p.m., Kearns Seventh Ward Chapel, 4360 W. 5415 South. Friends call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at 4330 S. Redwood Road, and Monday at the chapel one hour before services.
