Cordelia A. McCauley was born July 26th 1882 in Pennsylvania to John W McCauley (1849-1925) and Anna M Raddigan or Rattigan (1853-1890). She married Thomas Walton Towson, and the couple were the parents of two sons, John Wesley (1906-1936) and Charles Edward (1907-1981) Towson. She is buried in a family plot with her father and step-mother, Abigail "Abbie"; her husband; and their son John.
