Nora Josephine McGrew Andalora, 52, of Westminster died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at her home after an extended illness. Born Feb. 4, 1955, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William H. McGrew Sr. and Virginia F. Spence McGrew. She was the wife of Sam D. Andalora, her husband of 31 years. She was the company controller for Highland Turf Inc. for 19 years. She was a member of Stone Chapel United Methodist Church in Westminster and of the Everybody's Quilt Guild. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons and daughters-in-law William Aaron Andalora and Laura Matyas and Samuel Robert and April Andalora, all of Westminster; sisters Patricia Bernier and Kathleen Jones; a brother, William H. McGrew Jr.; grandchildren Cash, Mae and Kaylin Andalora; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, with her pastor, the Rev. Ellin M. Dize, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Maryland Chapter, 200 E. Joppa Road, Suite 407, Towson, MD 21286.
