PHYLLIS JEAN KOECKER SHEMELYA of Orlando, FL died at home - she was the daughter of John H and Esther Kloecker. She lived a life dedicated to helping people from all walks of life appreciate the value of a good education, health & wellness and public service and had a 40 year teaching career in Orlando and Lexington. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Edward; siblings, JoAnn Griffin and Jack H Kloecker, Jr, surviving are children, John Edward (Reda) of London, KY; George Michael (Jane) of Windermere, FL, J Alan of Orlando, Mary Esther (Tip) Mitchell of Cullman, AL; grandchildren, Wendi (Bill) Dizney, Jezami (Eric) Long; Shannon and Geoffrey Mitchell; Michael, Daniel, Bradley and Kalea Shemelya and great-grandchildren, Brailey, Brookz, Cruz and Oaklee. She is a graduate of Stephens College (Columbia, MO), University of Kentucky (Lexington) and New York University (NYC).
