FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN MISSOURI
I. H. Alexander, formerly a well-known resident of Winterset, died Thursday March 30 at a hospital in Kansas City.
Mr. Alexander lived many years in Winterset, and worked as a cabinet maker here. Following the death of his wife, five years ago, he moved to Kansas City to make his home with his daughter, Merle Alexander.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Alexander, Mrs. Irma Lawton and Mrs. Frances Yates; two sons, Robert and Carl Alexander; two brothers, Claude Alexander of Winterset and Paul Alexander of Idaho; and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Lee of Topeka, Kansas.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Galatin, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Claude Alexander of Winterset and Dr. and Mrs. Arnold Nelson of Huxley drove to Missouri to attend the services.
