Born January 1, 1937, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, son of the late Jose and Julia Amoros.
Resided in Spartanburg for the last eight years and had retired as a supervisor in the Housing Authority Maintenance Department.
Survived by sons, George Cortes, Hector Cortes, and Nelson Amoros; daughters, Gladys Cortes, Ana Rivera Amoros, and Evelyn Thalassenos-Amoros; 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his son, Manuel Amoros, Jr.
Visitation was held at the Bethel United Methodist Church Parlor.
Memorial service followed at 11:00 a.m. in the Fridy Chapel at the Church, conducted by the Rev. David B. Smith.
