New Albany-Alice Irene Ashmore born January 29, 1928 in Birch Tree Missouri to Frank and Edith (Miley) Miller passed away May 24, 2023 at the age of 95. Alice worked at Futorian in the payroll department for over 40 years. She loved her family and enjoyed watching her grand and great-grandchildren's many activities. She was a member of New Albany Church of Christ. Alice will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services honoring the life of Alice will be on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at United Funeral Service. A visitation will be on the same day also at United from 12:30 until 2:00. Burial will follow at Glenfield Memorial Park.
Alice is survived by her sons, Larry Ashmore (Linda), and David Ashmore and Cindy Ashmore, grandsons, John Ashmore (Brandi), Greg Ashmore (Lizzie) granddaughters, Dr. Karen Maltby (Dan), Angela Little (Adam), seven precious great granddaughters, Evelyn Maltby, Madelyn and Ava Ashmore, Cara and Maisie Ashmore, Ruby and Lennon Little, two brothers, Robert Miller (Delores) and John Miller, three sisters, Ida Brehm, Velma Maples, and Ann Ledgerwood (Sam) and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Edith Miller, husband, Victor Ashmore Jr., in-laws, Victor Ashmore Sr. and Julia Ashmore, brothers Edd Miller, Ralph Miller, and sisters Loeta Hunley and Patricia Thomas.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
