Adolph A. Behrman, 66, of Finlayson Township, passed away at the Pine County Memorial Hospital Tuesday, May 19th. He had been a patient there six days.
Adolph Behrman was born at Fort Wayne, Indiana Jan. 24, 1898. He came with his parents to the Finlayson community in 1909. Besides farming, Mr. Behrman worked on the railroad for many years and retired about a year ago.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel; four sons, August of Sturgeon Lake, Robert of Center City, Donald of Glendive, Montana and Allen at home; two daughters (Betty) Mrs. Roger Sundgaard of Bruno and Marilyn at home; two brothers, Herman of Clara City and John of Wisconsin; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Kalor of Minneapolis, Mrs. Sophie Gay of Soo St. Marie, Ontario, and Mrs. Elizabeth Constantine of Minneapolis; 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Finlayson Peace Lutheran Church on Friday, May 22 at 2 p.m. with Rev. W. J. Rittamel officiating. The casket bearers will be: Fred Reuer, Leon Busse, Guy Williams, Ralph Williams, Fred Goldberg and Wilbur Goldberg. Interment will be made in the Finlayson Peace Lutheran Cemetery. Larson Funeral Home of Sandstone has charge.
