CARLSBAD--A.B. Boman, 90, of Hueco Street, died Tuesday, May 2, 1995, at Guadalupe Medical Center.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Greater New Beginnings Baptist Church, with the Rev. Winston Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.
West Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Boman was born July 27, 1904, in Alabama, to Albert and Josephine Boman. He was raised and received his education in Navarro County, Texas. He moved to Carlsbad in 1972 from Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a member of the Greater New Beginnings Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons A.B. Boman Jr., of Carlsbad, and James Edward Boman, of Los Angeles; daughters Fayrene Ingram and Jessie Mae Gates, both of Carlsbad, and Doris Ann Ford, of Wichita Falls; brother Howard Boman, of Carlsbad; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Oscar Wilson, Charles Coleman, Daniel Hutson, Bobby Johnson, Dick Young and Charles Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Mason, Bennie Thompson, John Ingram and Vernon Lee.
