Obituary from the Southern Illinois Record, 8/11/1927:

Elizabeth Frances Clark, daughter of Amanda and Aquilla Clark, was born in Webster county, Ky., Mar. 30, 1847. Departed this life July 29, 1927, age 80 years, 4 months.

She was united in marriage to Onias O. Chasteen August 22, 1867. To this union was born four children, Ethel and Harlan, who were with her in her last hours and Laura and Ernie who preceded her to the heavenly home. The husband passed away August 12th, 1914.

She united with the Presbyterian church July 26, 1896. She was next to the youngest child of a family of several children and was the last of the family. She leaves the son and daughter and nine grandchildren besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn their loss.

"Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me,
May there be no mourning at the bar.
When I put out to sea."

Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Curt Anderson on Sunday, July 31. Burial took place at Onstott cemetery.
