Born November 20, 1911 in the Piney Forest section of Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late William Harrison Ethridge and Sally Godwin Ethridge. Mrs. Cooper lived in the Big Dam area most of her life. She was the widow of Woodrow Wilson Cooper.
Surviving are: two step-daughters, Monica C. Moore and Kathy C. Elliott and six step-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cooper was also predeceased by: two brothers, Luther J. Ethridge and William Woodrow Ethridge; and a sister, Effie Powell.
