Clifford R. Hudson, 70, of 348 Davey Road, South Dayton, Fla., died Thursday at Halifax Hospital, Daytona Beach, Fla. Born in Syracuse, Mr. Hudson lived in Florida for the past four years. He was formerly employed as head cook at Syracuse State School and at Bowl's Lunch. Mr. Hudson at one time owned the Cottage Restaurant. He was a former member of the Liederkranz Club and the Arion Club. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ella John Hudson; a daughter, Mrs. Hester Koll of Syracuse; three sons, Clifford W., Richard of Lakeport and Frederick of Golden, Colo.; two brothers, Charles of Leesburg, Fla., and Albert of North Syracuse; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Kompf Funeral Home, the Rev. Richard W. Elliott officiating. Cremation will follow. Calling hours are 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
