Ruth Irene Batty, age 96, of Wesley Village, died Sunday June 29, 2003 at McDonough District Hospital. Born August 19, 1906 in Dallas City to Guy and Florence Gochenour Hull, she married the Rev. Walter G. Batty on June 15, 1932. He died Oct. 13, 1979. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. Surviving son, Dr. Paul (and Carol) of Ypsilanti, Mich; one daughter, Carol Sackett of Moline; and one brother, Dr. Dean Hull of Clarence. MO.
