Joy Hull Bodet died Tuesday, June 5, 1998, as the result of an automobile accident. She was 68.
Mrs. Bodet was born in Vicksburg to the late Laura Annis Oakes Hull Walls and Sherman Cody Hull, Sr. She had lived in Madison since 1974 and retired from Trustmark Bank in 1993 after 30 years of service.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Madison.
Mrs. Bodet was preceded in death by a sister, Edna May Hull Smith; and a brother, Don Raymond Hull.
Survivors include a daughter, Aprille Joi Rose of Memphis; three sisters, Grace Saar of Dallas; and Betty June Davis and Voice Pickens, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, Burgell Hull of Fort Worth, Texas, and Sherman Cody Hull,Jr. of Vicksburg; nieces; and nephews.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Rev. James O'Riordan officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fisher-Riles Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Rose, Chris Smith, Bill McHie, Don Pittman, Michael Davis and Billy Bell.
