HYANNISPORT - Laurie Ann Warren, 52, of Hyannisport, passed away on November 4, 2012, after more than twenty years of battling breast cancer. Her strength of character and determination were admired by her many friends and family. She was born March 21, 1960, in Nashua, New Hampshire, to her loving parents, Roger and Elizabeth (Antonioli) Warren. She was the devoted wife of Bernard T. Kilroy, to whom she was and is the Center of His Universe.

She moved at an early age to Barnstable and attended the Barnstable School System. After graduation from Barnstable High School, she attended Boston University for two years and graduated from the University of Vermont Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She graduated with honors from Suffolk University Law School and practiced law in Hyannis until her three beautiful daughters were born. She retired from the practice of law to raise her family and to continue her lifelong and passionate love of caring for all of her "rescue animals" including her "boyfriend," Crash the Party, a retired thoroughbred. She was a member of the Hyannisport Club, the West Beach Club and the Hyannis Yacht Club.

Laurie Ann lived life to the fullest, using her intelligence, boundless energy, humor and upbeat personality to encourage all of her children, family and friends to follow her example of clearly communicating her thoughts, being available to help whenever there was a need and giving advice when requested. She loved when her daughters' friends would visit for sleepovers and the friends often thought of her as their second mother.

Along with her parents and her husband, Laurie Ann also leaves her three children, Olivia, Grace and Tallulah Kilroy; her stepchildren, Meghan, Katie and Bernard Kilroy; her sister, Susan McKenna and her husband, Edward, and their three children, Matt, Katie and Caroline; her sister-in-law, Peggy Sill and her husband, John, and their three sons, Jonathan, Joseph and Brian; her Aunt, Margaret Powicki; her Uncle, Frank Antonioli and his wife Dorothy.

Her family would like to thank all her many friends and neighbors for their thoughtful assistance and, in particular, those who gave so much time and effort tending to her horses in the final days of her illness. Her family would also like to recognize the kind, thoughtful and loving care she received from the staff at the Mary McCarthy Care Center which allowed her time to enjoy her friends and family in a dignified setting.

Services will be private and a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hope Health McCarthy Care Center, 73 Service Rd., E. Sandwich, MA 02537 or the MSPCA, 1577 Falmouth Rd., Centerville, MA 02632.
