Maude Bruns passed away at the family home at 409 East Walnut street. She had been in ill health for several years. She and her husband, J. F. Bruns, had resided in Lodi since 1921. She came here from Livermore where she was born August 2, 1875.
She was a member of Flora Rebekah Lodge of Lodi. She belonged to the Methodist church and was a member of Berean class and of Circle No. 1 of the Methodist Ladies' Aid Society.
She was survived by two daughters, Mrs. L. C. Vickers of Oakland and Mrs. Gladys Costello of Stockton; one son, Russell Bruns of Lodi; one sister, Mrs. Ida Anderson of Livermore; and two grandchildren, Jack and Tommy Vickers of Oakland.
