She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Donald R. Baker, her parents, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a lifelong resident of Stanislaus County and very active in the community. She was Past President of The Native Daughters of the Golden West; Past President of the Marine Corps League; Past Worthy High Priestess White Shrine; Past Worthy Matron Electa El Rio Chapter O.E.S.; Past Bethel Guardian, Bethel 42 I.O.J.D; Charter Member and Past Honored Queen, Bethel 171 Ceres I.O.J.D. She was an adult leader for I.O.J.D for over 50 years and served as a Grand Officer in 1985. She retired after 35 years with Kraft General Foods and was a member of the First Christian Church of Modesto.
