GOODELLS -- Mrs. Henrietta Marilla Mass Cove, 84, of 9311 Sparling Road, died Saturday, June 7, 1986 in Harper Hospital Detroit after a long illness. She was born April 1, 1912 in Split Rock, Wis. She had lived in this area for the past 45 years. She married Emerson Cove on June 15, 1941 in Berrien Springs.

Mrs. Cove was a school teacher. She was a life-time member of the Seventh Day Adventists Church.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. and Mrs. Paul (Rhoda) Layman, Berrien Springs; two grandsons; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Anderson, Hinsdale, Ill.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Orren (Rachel) Bacheller, Clearwater, Fla.; and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd (Fern) Pelton, Berrien Springs; four nieces and four nephews; five great-nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services are 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Pastor Stephen Vitrano, of Andrews University and Pastor Michael Conley of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Marysville, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Wales Township. Pallbearers will be Stan Schlatter, James and Earl Kincaid, Sandy Kirkpatrick and Dale Willhelm.
