Mr. Massay died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Born in the Clinton community on Dec. 1, 1905, he was the son of J.M. Massay and Bettie McBride. He married Louise Van Peters in McKinney on Dec. 7, 1924. He was a general insurance manager and a member of Central Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, E.K. Massay Jr. of Greenville; one sister, Cora Lee Elliott of Greenville; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1963 and a sister.
Pallbeaerers will be Lee Duncan, Gerald Hall, Scott Massay, Vic Massay, Sock Inglish and T. Goad. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Central Christian Church.
