Martha Jane Brown, 82, of Lewis, IN passed away on March 18, 2012 at 2:45 p.m. She was born on March 8, 1930 to Raymond and Edith (Sinders) Miller. She graduated from Clay city High School in 1948. She married Richard Brown on April 3, 1949.
She is survived by her husband; two sons David Brown (Robin) and Mark Brown ( Pam); daughter Beverly Tiefel (Jerry); 9 grandchildren Heather Allen (Joe), Leslie Tiefel, Meghan Bankert (Dustin), Christopher Tiefel, Bryce Brown (Susan), Melissa Orman (Jason), Andy Brown (Leah), Lindsay Brown, and Luke Brown; 8 great grandchildren; sister Ella Sheehan ( Al); brother Pearson Miller (Jeannine); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday March 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Rev. Fred Harrison will be officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Bowling Green, IN. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Thursday March 22, 2012 from 4:00p.m. -8:00 p.m. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Oregon Baptist Church Building Fund.
