Vina Belle Patman Liddell, 99, died Tuesday, October 06, 2009 at Walter B. Crook Nursing Home in Ruleville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2009 at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Arinder officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 10, in Marshall, Texas. Mrs. Liddell was born on April 5, 1910 in Linden, Texas to Joseph Patman and Minnie Kathryn Harris Patman. She married William Walker Liddell, Sr. She was totally dedicated to the Immanuel Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include a son, James Larry Liddell (Martha) of Clarksdale, MS; a stepson, William Walker Liddell, Jr., (Rita) of Houston, Texas; one grandchild; four great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
