Barr Patricia L, 76, of Kendallville, died April 2, 2011, at her residence. She Mrs. Barr was born in Kendallville on July 3, 1934, to Arthur and Leona (Bordner) Rowe. She graduated from Rome City High School in 1952. She married Glen Alan "Bud" Barr on February 1, 1959, in Kendallville and he died October 26, 2009. She worked in the cafeteria at the Kendallville Middle School for a number of years and she also worked at McCray Memorial Hospital for a time. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville. Survivors include 4 sons, Craig Linthicum of Kendallville and Kathy Linthicum of Auburn, Bret and Tonya Barr of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Joe Barr of Kendallville, and Todd Barr of Kendallville; 14 grandchildren, Carie and Dane Brandgard, Drew Linthicum, Cody Linthicum, Nikki and Rob Galbraith, Danelle Barr, Carl W. Haggerman, Kaitlin Barr, Emalee Barr, Kyle Barr, Connor Barr, Dezaray Barr, and Joshua Barr; 8 great-grandchildren, Allyson Brandgard, Leif Brandgard, Lars Brandgard, Hanna Brandgard, Alaura Linthicum, Jackson Linthicum, Kingston Linthicum, and Alexis Jade Folis; 2 sisters, Donna Seigel of Ligonier, and Darlene Howard of Port Washington, Ky.; and a brother, Jack Rowe of Kentucky. She was also preceded in death her great-granddaughter, Celestial Breeze Linthicum; brother, Jim Rowe; and sister, Annie Hammel. Funeral April 6 at Hite Funeral Home.
