HARRIET SIMMS CORRIGAN, 69, of Louisville, formerly of Springfield, Ky., died at her home on Saturday, June 29, 2002. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Benedict Rodman (Rod) Corrigan. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Benedict Rodman Jr. and Shannon Corrigan; daughter, Sara Corrigan; daughter and son-in-law Mary and Bob Woolsey; daughter, Catherine Corrigan Morris; daughter and son-in-law Anne and Doug Marschal; daughter and son-in-law, Prudence and John Peterson; 13 adoring grandchildren, Emily, Keven, Catherine, Kendall, Anne, Marie, Michael, Jack, Cooper, Alex, Patrick, Kristen, Will and Madeleine; and a great-granddaughter, Anna Claire. Harriet was loved by her sister, Mary Prudence D'Antoni; and brother Hamilton Simms. The family was blessed with a caregiver, Zel Williams. The funeral will be at noon Wednesday at St. Raphael Catholic Church, Bardstown Road at Lancashire, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Rd., from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Expressions of Sympathy may go to Hospice of Louisville.
