ADAMSVILLE - Nita Tidwell Arendall, 72, retired registered nurse, died Saturday at her home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shackleford Funeral Home Adamsville Chapel with burial in Adamsville Cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah has charge.

She was a member of First Christian Church and Lady Lions of Adamsville, a former PTA president and Girl Scout leader. Mrs. Arendall, the wife of Joe Arendall, also leaves two daughters, Beth Gurley of Germantown and Janet Jerrolds of Savannah; a son, Larry Arendall of Savannah; two sisters, Callie May of Savannah and Flora DeCourley of Memphis, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the local chapter of the American Heart Association.
