MRS. LORA BARNES CALLED BY DEATH

Services for Mrs. Harvey (Lora) Barnes, 79, were held at 1 p.m. Thursday,
Sept. 1 in the Evergreen Funeral Home, Vancouver where burial was in Evergreen
Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Barnes was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Vancouver. The Rev.
J.W. Mincher officiated at her funeral.

Mrs. Barnes, a former resident of Bingen and oldest sister of Ralph Walker,
White Salmon, was born April 22, 1881 in Montrose, Missouri.

For 15 years she has been a resident of North Bonneville. She died Monday,
Aug. 29, at a Ridgefield rest home. Cause of death was heart trouble.

Three sons survive her: Kenneth who this week moved from Pendleton to
Springfield,
Robert of North Bonneville and Duane of Portland; four daughters, Mrs.
B.A. (Velma) Radliff, Vancouver, Mrs. Marjorie Jones, Prineville, Ore.,
Mrs. Claudia Boyse and Mrs. Lola Tupper of Portland.

Also three brothers, Henry and Roy Walker of Goldendale and Ralph Walker
of White Salmon; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Bruneau of Portland and Mrs.
Zetta Gossard of Toppenish.
