Betty was a former employee of Fanny Farmer Candy Co., Norwalk Furniture, Durable Mat, Norwalk Raceway Park, and was the co-owner of the former Breaktime Café in Norwalk. She was a member of Eagles Aerie #711 Auxiliary, Firelands Post #2743 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and Queen Esther Chapter #15 Order of Eastern Star. Betty enjoyed camping, swimming, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, collecting bird figurines, and making bird cages. She was an avid bowler and was a member of the 300 club. Betty especially enjoyed family events, and loved life to its fullest.
She is survived by her children, Kevin (Stephanie) Fitch of Norwalk, Ohio, Michelle (Chris) Myers of Norwalk, Ohio, and Robert (Bernadette) Guckert of Shelby, Ohio, and by her grandchildren, William C. (Jessica) Guckert, Cody Fitch, Heylee (Matt Silcox) Cleland, Christin Fitch, Kyle Fitch, Jayde Cleland, Kayla Guckert, and Peyton McCurdy. Betty is also survived by her brothers, Donald Zuk of Sandusky, Ohio, and David Zuk of Columbus, Ohio, and by her sister, Dorothy Scheid of Norwalk, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Cloyce Fitch in 2014, and by her brothers, Robert and Thomas Zuk.
