Joseph “Joe” Vernon Argo, 49, of Kilbourne Illinois, passed away on April 22, 2017 at 11:23 a.m. at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg, Illinois, from a long fight with ALS.
He was born on January 13, 1968 to Vern A. Argo Jr. and Sue (Coontz) Argo in Springfield, Illinois.
Joe is survived by two daughters Sydney M. Argo and Samantha J. Argo. He is also survived by his sister, Verna Rightnower and his parents, Vern and Sue Argo.
Joe was a member of the Easton United Methodist Church and a member of the Pork Producers Association. He graduated from Pleasant Plains High School, earned his Associates Degree from Lincoln Land Community College and was a life-long farmer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg Illinois. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Al Sample officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral at Walkers Grove Cemetery in Easton Illinois.
Memorials may be made in Joe’s name to the Easton United Methodist Church in Easton, Illinois.
