He graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School and advanced his education at Cleveland State University and The American Institute of Banking.
On August 4, 1962 he married Carol (Hemmeter) in Lakewood, OH.
He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran, 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of Central College Presbyterian Church. After 36 years in the banking industry, he retired in 1995 as a Senior Vice President of Huntington National Bank.
Grant is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Carol; sister, Brenda J. Randolph; children, Grant (Sabrina), Wende (Steve) Swanson, and Rick (Jill); six grandchildren, Lauren (AJ), Zachary, Dillon, Randi, Nick, and Dani; two great-grandchildren, Beckett and Foster; as well as many treasured family and friends.
A Memorial Service and Air Force Honor Guard Ceremony will be Saturday, September 9 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Central College Presbyterian Church, 975 S. Sunbury Road, Westerville, Ohio, with Pastor David M. Redding officiating.
