To this wedlock 5 children were born: the twins Gradus and Garret, Nina, Alfred and Edwin, who with the widow and one brother, survive.
Mr. Aalberts was 46 years and 5 days old at the time of his death.
Funeral services were conducted at the home by the brother-in-law, Rev. G.H. Douwstra, and at the church by Rev. J. Steunenberg, where the friends and relatives filled the church to capacity. Many beautiful floral tributes were given as tokens of sympathy and loving remembrance.
A kind and thoughtful husband and father, a genial friend, religious, active in church work during his last years, his standing was high in the community and he will be missed not only by the family, but by a host of friends.
