and 1st generation Oregonian.
David Warren Allingham came to Oregon in 1852, following his brother, William's emigration in 1850. Margaret Jane Davidson had also come to Oregon with her family in 1852, and the couple married on June 26th, 1853. Nine children were borne of their union; Ora's siblings were:
Horatio M., Isabella D., Loren E., Otha D., Carter T., Arthur G., Dollie V. and Laura.
Young Ora was born on his parents' donation land claim on February 12th, 1860. Sadly, he died on October 17th, 1864 for reasons not known to me. He was buried at the Butler - Davidson Cemetery at Monmouth, Polk County, Oregon by his grieving parents, siblings, other family members and friends.
May he Rest in Eternal Peace with his loved ones in Paradise.
