PARK CITY, Ky. – Mildred Shipley Brown, 77, of Park City died at 1:47 p.m. May 28, 1995, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
The Barren County native was a homemaker. She was a daughter of the late Tim J. Shipley and Cora Byrd Shipley.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Walnut Hills [sic] Baptist Church, where she was a member and a Sunday school teacher, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the church. Patton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband J. Les Brown of Park City; a son, Richard Brown of Park City; two daughters, Nancy Fendell of Lawrenceburg and Doris Hurley of Park City; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a nephew; and two nieces.
