Brubaker, Virginia N., 81, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, September 21, 2009. Survivors include her husband, Max, of 63 years; daughters, Diane Horning and Vera Brubaker; son, David Brubaker and his wife, Cindy; all of Wichita; and son, Vaughn Brubaker of Pittsburg, KS; 10 grandsons and 20 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 25, 2009 at Christ Lutheran Church, 5356 N. Hillside, Wichita.; graveside to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 1208 N. College, Winfield, KS. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with Christ Lutheran Church. Virginia will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
