Born in Jackson Township, he was one of 15 children born to the late Henry R. and Ameta (Maul) Miller.
Mr. Miller was self employed for several years in driveway construction, and retired as a truck driver for KBS, Inc. in Thomasville. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.
For 65 years he was the loving husband of Anna (Messersmith) Miller. The couple observed their 65th wedding anniversary on February 20, 2008. In addition to his dear loving wife, he will be sadly missed by his daughters, Evelyn M. King and husband, Jerry of Dillsburg, Susan M. Lucabaugh and husband, Nathan of Hanover; six grandchildren, Anita, Jeffrey, Brian, Abram, Alison, and Rachel; and five greatgrandchildren, Chad, Travis, Sara, Ella, and Nolan.
He was preceded in death by his 14 brothers and sisters.
