Died at Thornapple Manor in Hastings, MI. Parents: Bolto-Frank & Frances (Krizanic) Pacic. Spouse: Vernice (Wilson) Stevens, married June 24, 1950. Frank served in World War II in the Marines and was stationed in the Pacific at Guadalcanal, where he was a member of a demolition squad that blew the enemy out of their caves. Following the War Frank was employed by the Kalamazoo Optical Company. The Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church Cemetery is located next to the church, 150 131st Avenue in Wayland. OBITUARY:
"Frank J. Pacic passed away at Thornapple Manor, Hastings on Thursday morning, October 7, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Vernice (Wilson), whom he married on June 24, 1950. Also surviving are his children, Frances (Harold) Heath, Tim (Teva) Stevens, Bill (Helen) Stevens and Thom Pacic; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Pacic; and sister, Lena Koski. Frank was a Marine veteran of World War II. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 Monday at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church (please meet at church) with Fr. Gaylord Shimnoski as Celebrant. Interment at church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church. The family will greet relatives and friends 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday with the Rosary at 5 p.m. at the Archer, Hampel & Kubiak, Wayland Chapel,"
