Harry G. Day (b. 1906) was the chemist at Indiana University that invented Crest toothpaste.


He was a 1995 inductee into the Monroe County Hall of Fame on which his plaque reads "Honors (POST-1946) A chemist at Indiana University with a long list of civic involvement. He coordinated research to develop toothpaste with Stannous Fluoride to prevent tooth decay - which led to Crest, marketed by Proctor and Gamble."
