Mrs. George (Elva Brunner) Coad, 87, of Rose Hill died Monday, March 21, 1983, in Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. Services will be in Pulliam Funeral Home, Newton. Burial will be in Plainfield Cemetery, Rose Hill.
Mrs. Coad was born in Jasper county, daughter of Robert Henry and Louvisa M. Brunner. She was a retired nurse's aid. She married George Coad in 1915 and he died in 1971.
Surviving are her sons, Bob and Dale; daughter Mrs. Leon German; sister Ethel Benskin; 12 grandchildren. One brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
