MRS. GRACE B. GIFFORD

Pella, Ia. - Services for Mrs. Grace B. Gifford, 89, of Lynnville, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Lynnville Friends Church. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery at Lynnville.
Mrs. Gifford died Friday of pneumonia at the Pella Nursing Home in Pella. She was born at Sheridan and lived most of her life in Lynnville. She was a member of the Lynnville Friends Church.
She is survived by four sons, Wayne Wildman and Claire Gifford, both of Pella; Dale E. Wildman of Ankeny and Keith Wildman of Pomona, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

OBITUARY
GRACE GIFFORD

Grace Gifford, daughter of Robert and Cynthia Ann English was born July 18, 1877 in Poweshiek County. When she moved with her parents to South Dakota and returned to Iowa and the Lynnville Community in 1885. She passed away October 21, 1966 in (a) Pella nursing home where she had been since August of this year.
She was united in marriage to Charles Wildman in 1899. Four sons were born to this union, Wayne of Pella, Dale of Ankeny, Keith of Pomona, California and Hoyt who was killed in an automobile accident in 1955. Charles Wildman passed away in 1917.
In 1919, she was married to A. T. Gifford and one son, Clair Gifford of Pella, was born to this union. Mr. Gifford passed away in 1957. His son Ward Gifford died in 1960.
Mrs. Gifford was a member of the Lynnville Friends church and a life-long member of the W.C.T.U.
She is survived by 4 sons, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death was a granddaughter, Judy Wildman, who was killed in an automobile accident which killed her father, Hoyt Wildman.
Funeral services were held in the Lynnville Friends church on Monday, October 24 at 1:30 in charge of Rev. Peter Schulere. Mrs. Howard Macy was organist. Pallbearers were Harold F. Macy, Lory Gause, Charles Bryan, Ray Ver Steeg, Wm. Stewart and Gerald Beason. In charge of the flowers were Mrs. Dwight Bailey, Mrs. Jim Terlouw and Mrs. Harold F. Macy. The Hamilton-Lilly funeral home of Des Moines was in charge of arrangements. Dale Wildman who is a mortician, is associated with this funeral home. Interment was in Woodland Cemetery.
