Monroe County News Union, April 1 - Death has ended the long and useful life of Granville Canterbury of Red Sulphur Springs, this county. While visiting in the home of his daughter, Mrs L M Fleshman, near Lindside, he was stricken with pneumonia and there died on Thursday morning, March 11, 1915 at 2 o'clock. His age was 82 years. Mr Canterbury has been a familiar figure in Monroe county for three-quarters of a century.
