John Howard Maines, a former Altoona resident, died yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Hile of Girard, OH. Deceased was 68 yrs. old and a native of this city.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Albert Hile of Girard, OH, John of Younstown, OH, Mrs. Harold Clark of Warriors Mark, and Mrs Paul Hartsock of Tyrone and six grandchildren. He is also survived by the following brother and sisters: A.P. Maines, C. E. Maines, William Maines all of Altoona, and Margaret Maines of Cleveland OH.
Funeral services will be tomorrow from Stevens Memorial Chapel and interment at Carson Valley Cemetery.
