Funeral services will be held today in Pleasanton, Kas., for Robert J. Evans of Lamar, Col., who died Thursday at his home there after a lingering illness, according to word received yesterday by a sister, Mrs. Mattie Beiderlinden, who resides at 1108 Cherry street. Mrs. Beiderlinden left Springfield yesterday to be present for the services today. Mr. Evans is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Evans; three brothers, Henry Evans, Nixa, Mo.; Frank Evans, Darrouzett, Tex., and Jesse Evans, Baxter, Mo. The deceased also is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Charles L. Jones, Milford, Mo.; Mrs. Neva Brown, Winona, Okla.,; Mrs. Charles Pachelhoffer and Mrs. Beiderlinden.
