WWI military record revealed Andrew J Bargy was born on Apr 17, 1890 in Boylstown, New York. His mothers maiden name was Mary Porter. He enlisted in the 33rd, 9th Bn, 153rd Brigade on Sept 28 1917 and was discharged Mar 18, 1919. He trained at Camp Dix and returned Nov 1918 after being shot in the middle finger of his left hand.

Marriage record revealed Andrew J Bargy and Dora M Palmer married on 21 Oct 1919 in New York. He was 28 and she was 14, He was the son of Andrew F Bargy and Mary V Porter. She was the daughter of Leonard J. Palmer and Julia M. Presley.

Mary Bargy (b.1920 d.1992)
Donald Bargy (b.Aug 22, 1921 d.1976)

Application for unmarked soldiers head stone dated July 2, 1928 revealed William A Prescott applied for and received a headstone for Andrew J Bargy. His death date is listed as Sept 15, 1921.

Andrew Bargy passed away at the home of his sister, Mrs. Del Tifft, who resides below the Fair ground about 12 o'clock this morning. Mr. Bargy came here to see his sister only yesterday. The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 o'clock at the Wesleyan church.

He is survived by his wife and two children, and his mother, Mrs. Daniel Stowell. Mr. Bargy was a son of the late Andrew Bargy and was overseas in the Worid war and was wounded in the service.
