Her paternal great grandparents were Peter Abraham Deel, III and Isabella Serena Duff.
She married Harley Perry McGaugh on December 22, 1928. They were blessed with five daughters: Florence "Geneva" McGaugh Ballard, Oma "Loveda" McGaugh Rosinbaum, Melvie "Harlene" McGaugh Farmer, Hazle "Sue" McGaugh Hilburn, and Murrell "Dee" McGaugh Guthrie Hines.
She died on Wednesday, January 15, 1997 in Clyde, Texas. She was 86 years old.
