Obituary:

Malan Hyrum Clements, 84, passed away peacefully at home December 22, 2001. He was born October 19, 1917 in American Fork, the seventh child of Edward and Rose Erickson Clements.
He married his sweetheart Fern Keeler January 11, 1938 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He lived in American Fork and owned an auto wrecking business for many years. He served in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Malan is survived by his wife, Fern; his children; 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Marie Deakin and Elaine [Jones] Reed. He was preceded in death by [his parents,] two sons, Wallace and Fredrick Clements, a granddaughter, Geri Richins, his brothers, Wallace, Roy, Blaine, Welby, and Glen, and a sister Edna Myrberg.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 27, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 25th Ward, 445 East 300 North.
Friends called at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, American Fork Cemetery.
