Born in Brownwood County, TX on Oct. 17, 1869 the daughter of George Washington Lewis and Mary Elizabeth McPeeters.
She moved to New Mexico in 1883 and met her first husband Frederick John Miller, and to Globe with husband Joseph Inman in 1939. She later lived in Coolidge, and for the last six years of her life, she lived with her daughter, Mrs. Mary Grantham in Mesa. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Grantham of Mesa, Mrs. Clara B. Cox of Tempe, and Mrs. Mabel Bunting of Artesa, NM; one son, John of Decatur, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Elvira Jeffers of Holbrook; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
