Beverly Folden, 56, Newfolden, died Saturday, July 27, 1996, at home.
Beverly Jean Engelsrud was born Nov. 2, 1939, the daughter of Conrad and Ruby (Windahl) Engelsrud, in Thief River Falls. She graduated from Newfolden High School. She worked as a dentist in Thief River Falls and at the Marshall County (Minn.) State Bank. She was also a bookkeeper at the co-op in Newfolden. She married Leslie Folden Dec. 14, 1963, in Newfolden. They lived and worked on the family farm.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Michelle (Tim) Prestebak, Goodridge, Minn.; three grandchildren; her mother, Newfolden; and a sister, Eunice Liedberg, Newfolden.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donelle in 1988; her father; and a brother, Don.
Services:2 p.m. Thursday in Evangelical Free Church, Newfolden. Visitation:2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, in Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls, and one hour before services in the church.
