I seen his and her grave. I don't think they were legally married. John Vincent wasn't legally divorced from my great, great grandmother.

Check the birthdates
After looking at the birth dates of her parents and her birthdate, it makes me wonder if I did the rest gut thing. They would have been really young parents.

RE: re: Nick Askew
I inadvertently put the note for Hugh Clark on Nick Askew's record. I didn't have a chance to look for Nick Askew's marker. He is supposed to be in Section 1, Block 1, Lot 14, SW. I was visiting Oklahoma City and drove to Guthrie to visit my grandmother's grave site and decided to try to fulfill some of the requests on here. I'm sorry for the mix-up and don't see how I can remove the "problem" from Nick Askew's request.

RE: re: Crump Photo
So sorry to hear about Grampa Dick's grave. That really hurts. I agree about the number of unmarked graves in pioneer cemeteries. What struck me here was the lack of illegible they had all been removed.

My experience in these cemeteries is that there are a lot of native stone, hand hewn markers and home made cement markers. Many of which wear rapidly and become unreadable. There just weren't any.

RE: re: Crump Family?
Hi there! Thanks for the message. I am of no relation to the Crump family. I make it a point to add flowers to every memorial I visit as a sign of respect. Thank you so much for asking. :)

Many blessings to you! :)

RE: re: Crump Photo
You are very welcome. If a cemetery has a useable map and record system, I always try to take a picture of an unmarked grave. It gives the requester "closure". Sometimes I'll post the whole block, if I think it's pertinent. Mostly, if I'd want to see it in my quest for an ancestor. :)
I should add, summit view is a very large cemetery with many, many unmarked graves. ( not many illegible, which makes me wonder a little if someone "cleaned it up" at some point in the past. )
I went there with a list of 25 photo requests that had at least section, lot, and block. Only 3 had markers.

He is my relative that is why I created the memorial for him. Why do you keep asking for a transfer. Everett Ritter is my direct line ancestor.

First Families of America
How exactly are you related to the Ritter family.

I got your message for a transfer of my relative to you but you did not respond.

I'm confused. I see where you left a flower for Isaac Soloman Ritter Memorial# 39669899 refering to him as Grandfather and GG-grandfather Benjamin Franklin Ritter Memorial# 52073742 and on Everett Ritter father of Benjamin Franklin Ritter 52073742 you also leave a flower refering to his GG-grandfather.

Odly enough another Benjamin Frankin Ritter Memorial# 43284297 you also leave a flower refering to him as GG-grandfather.

Three gg grandfathers all Ritters.

Hi Evelynne - I am only related thru his father's second wife Nancy Marshall. Her mother was a Macy. Henry, the son, was living with her in the 1865 Kansas State census. Are you related? Bill.

I am working on my ancestors listed above. Would you have any information on them. They are buried in the Daniell-Freeman Cemetary in Georgia. We were also wondering why they are buried in this cemetery since they are the only Bennetts and we have a question about the spelling of the last name. Thank you for your time and any help you can give. M. Bennett

RE: Davis, Fullilove, Gable & Leitner
We have corresponded several times before.

In the records of Mt. Pilgrim is recorded the deaths and burials of Popie V. Fullilove and Lillie P. Fullilove. They both have headstones at the cemetery. It would be unusual for the family to have placed headstones for them if they had not actually been interred in the cemetery.

Are there also headstones for them at Ranburne Baptist Cemetery?

Grandma Nancy Leitner Gable's memorial also reflects the alternate spelling of Lightner.

Good to hear from you.
