Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Northern CA and have been interested in Genealogy research for several years now. What an amazing adventure it's been. I was told about Find A Grave to search for more clues to my ancestors. It was one of the best places I've come across. So I decided to become a volunteer and help others if I could.

My "Home" cemetery I work on is Redding Memorial. I've been on a quest to document this Redding Cemetery since the first month I joined FAG.

So now that I'm hooked, every trip or vacation we go on, I'm looking for a cemetery, what photos can I find and who else is looking for their family..

Family I'm looking for; Clary, Jones & Sherwood Family in Joplin, MO.
Oates, Owens & Guy; LA, OK, AR, AL and Tenn.
Happy Hunting..

I'll go back, when it stops raining, because the list I made yesterday of nearby graves, to help me find Frank's, includes the name Bernice Raugas. I didn't check off her name so I didn't see it (I checked off each name as I saw their grave).

No, Bernice's grave was not next to him, I would have taken a photo if it was. I didn't find one for her. The grave is all by itself, no other one close to it. I was told it was in Block C but it was Block H. Did Bernice die after him? If so my guess would be she's buried there and just not on the grave.

Good news. I stopped at the library and was able to get a list of names buried in the same row. I am at the cemetery now and I found the grave, it's right on the top of ant hill, I think the ants will probaby show up in the photo. I'll post it when I get home. It would have helped originally to know the surrounding graves. And the map leaves something to be desired.

Yes,I did check with the office, they gave me the lot number of the grave. I like to walk again a second time just in case I missed it so hopefully if there a stone I will see it this time.

Interesting that it is only his nickname on the headstone. Wish I knew the story. Thank you for your work.

Thank you for your time and hard work. Because of you I was able to find the headstone of my grandfather. He passed away before I was born and I do not recall any conversations about him growing. Thank you for opening the door for hopefully and entire side of a family I never knew.
