After losing my Mother in 2011, I have embarked on the journey to create my family tree, and search for my ancestors. I want to pass this down to my son. It's quite a task since I have a large family. I'm enjoying it however and I have found people who are willing and eager to share photos & any information they have. I am working on, DeArmond, Collier, Wood, Walls, Lear....to name a few from my side of the family & mostly all from Muhlenberg County, KY. I'm also working on my son's Willamson side, mostly from southern IL. I wonder how many years it will take. lol :) I find myself at the computer day and night lately delving into all this new found knowledge. :) Aside from that, I enjoy my family, quilting, gardening & reading. I love many types of music, quotes, bible passages, taking photos, old barns, outhouses, antiques, anything old & interesting. Being a DeArmond, I love the DeArmond guitars (I gave mine to my son who has played guitar since he was 4 years old).....DeArmond invented the pick up & they are highly sought after. Anything DeArmond, I love & am interested in.
