I have worked with and enjoyed communicating with a number of great volunteers in both Colorado and Oregon and consider them my friends and FAG family. With that in mind this year has also brought me a few nasty volunteers that I have had to have FAG block from emailing me. Please if you are one of these move on no communication is required and leaves more time for me to help the ones that need and appreciate my help. Also, I don't believe I need help on how to load memorials – after over 50,000 memorials managed I think I have it down.|
I enjoy helping people with finding and linking their families – investigating is in my blood. I also enjoy filling photo requests as you can tell by my over 2,500 currently taken. So if you need my help please let me know but please be considerate on the number asked at a time so I can help others who need my help. Also, if I tell you the grave is unmarked or the loved one was never buried at the cemetery, this was only brought to your attention after asking at least two people in the office and checking out the site myself to insure the information is accurate. I find I have a great working relationship with all the cemeteries I currently work with.
Transfers! If the name is Bolejack, Bolerjack, Pomeroy, Campbell, Deboard, Dickey, Hodges, Weddle, Francis, Barrett, Bennett, Boyde, Doyle, Braning, or Robinson – don’t bother asking. Or if I put a flower “ Family” – please don’t ask it just takes time away from what I am currently doing. With that said – I don’t believe in hording other volunteers family members. Sometimes it might take me a few days to answer but I do try and answer as quickly as possible. I also will not transfer when you have a proven history of poor updating and editing memorials skills. I believe that the loved one and their family members deserve someone that is prepared to take care of them.
Outside of FAG I am the proud grandmother of twin granddaughters and three grandsons. And if they don’t keep me busy enough I have two twin nephews and their brother that stop by to spread joy and the occasional cold.

Thank you for researching them. Now for me to find them since they are not where they were supposed to be. :)

Many thanks for the wonderful photos posted on Find A Grave Memorial #44843419 for Lee Stock. The photo request was made on a Sunday and by the following day you posted the photo -- it doesn't get any better than that!

Thank you so much for your help in locating my paternal grandmother grave site. I knew very little about this person. I am her granddaughter from a long time ago - parents divorced and there was no contact with Elizabeth - now I have info on her.

Thank you for your excellent information about Mark's cremains. Now I will have to figure out how to put him in a virtual cemetery.
Appreciate your assistance very much.

Guess what I found today - a newspaper article in the Oregonian from Sunday Oct 14, 1900 for the marriage of Alice Frances Pritchard to L. Harry Gurney on Oct. 08, 1900. Also there is a site transfer from ancestry to the Oregon Marriage Index for their marriage, but it comes up as an Error when trying to connect to it. So the plot thickens. Still can't find anything on her death as of yet. I know she was born after Jennie & Harry got married. They were married in Greeley, Weld, Colorado, Nov. 08, 1882 according to their marriage certf., Alice was born July 31, 1883. Haven't been able to find any more "yet" and can't find anything on her husband, L. Harry Gurney. Will keep trying though. Thanks again for trying.

Thank you for your wonderful photography. I just saw your photos of my parents' graves--Carl R. Kasch and Henrietta H. Kasch--in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Jefferson County, Colorado. Thank you so much for volunteering your time to honor their memory. I am very grateful. Barbara R

I am wondering if you would be willing to transfer Nellie E (171098205)and Joseph W Gallagher (171098144) to me? Nellie is my husband's great Aunt sister to his maternal grandmother. I already have her parents and brother also buried at Mt Olivet in Wheat Ridge.
Thank you in advance.

Burial information was provided by another Find A Grave contributor-unfortunately, I can not locate that e-mail. Wikipedia has her name as Josephine Aspinwall Roche and lists her spouse as Edward Hale Bierstadt. It appears that he is buried in Long Island National Cemetery. I checked the Nationwide Gravesite Locator any posting for Josephine and did not find any. I'll check the obits early next week. Thanks.
Hello, I am the 4x great grand daughter of Anna Madden. I added my 3x great grandmother Mary to a note connected to Anna. Mary is buried with her mother, but has no marker. I was wondering if that is ever a consideration when you are chronicling the graves? I did not find out myself until I visited the cemetery and consulted with the office to assist me. I already have a picture of her grave, I was just wondering about the unmarked graves, if they are taken into account. Thank you for all your hard work, as a family historian, it is a wonderful tool to find a grave that you would otherwise not be able to find or see unless traveling to that destination. I also added the obituary for Mary with the note incase anyone is interested in it. Debbie

I have been looking for the grave of Alice Pritchard, daughter of Harry Norman Pritchard and Jennie Celestia Gale Pritchard. I learned of this memorial when I requested a picture of her brother Frank Gale Pritchard's grave marker and was told he didn't have one. Do you have any other information on Alice, everything I have from family records and what I have found, pretty much match the information you have except the last name. She is with the family in the 1885 Colorado census and the 1900 U.S. Census as Pritchard. Jennie and Harry got married in Nov 1882. Of course if this is Alice, James Otis Gale would be her grandfather. Harry is the half brother to my grandfather and I am trying to fill in family. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I tried to reach you through your e-mail but was unable to.
Harry has three 1/2 brothers all sons of Anna Elizabeth (Watson). Two other links, besides Harry's, are shown on her her memorial link. The only one that is not shown is John Watson Vogan - who I found in a diary of my grandmothers, died in 1939 in Portland, and was cremated. At one time he was the owner & president of the Vogan Candy Company, AKA Modern Confectionary Company before retiring. I am trying to find if he and his wife were placed somewhere but haven't been able to, so far. Thank you for your consideration.
